Typography

The specimens below are the text styles published in Figma DSL V1.2 (tokens.textStyle, also emitted as --eand-text-style-* custom properties). They are what ty() and the Text component apply. V1.2 retuned the heading ramp — it now runs from heading/2xl at 32px to heading/xs at 16px, with heading/lg at 24px / 110% — and the aed/* ramp is the Arabic/RTL parallel: the same steps with tuned metrics.

The older typography/* variables are still exported (tokens.typography), and they lag one step behind the styles: the heading/lg variable is 28px / 120%. A few published symbols bind those variables directly rather than applying a style — the PageHeader title, the AlertModal title and the SmilesBalance total — and those components follow their symbol. Use the styles everywhere else.

Suisse Int'l is licensed, and this site loads it. The upright weights (300–700) carry the full Arabic alphabet, the Arabic-Indic digits, and the contextual shaping forms, so Arabic sets as connected script rather than isolated letters. The italics are Latin-only, which is correct — Arabic does not use them. Book (450) is the one exception: it has no Arabic cut, so Arabic at 450 is served from Regular via unicode-range.
